Help People® Island

Mission Statement
"Help People® Builds Relationships With New Residents Such That They Are Inspired To Learn, Participate In And Contribute To Creating The Second Life Community."

Welcome to the Help People® Island in SecondLife website. Our island is a safe haven for new residents in SL to learn how to live and exist in the ever growing virtual reality world of Secondlife. Our island is staffed by trained volunteers that give of their time to help new users get on their feet and enjoying all that SL has to offer. If you don't already have a SecondLife account you can sign up for a free SL account here. You will also need to download and install the SecondLife client from here.

Freebie shop on Help People® Island

All of our helpers have the "helping" attitude. It is that attitude that sets us apart from all the other help islands or help area's in SecondLife. We offer one-on-one help for our new residents. Our sim is designed to show you a sampling of what there is to offer in SL. We have a freebie shop to help you get new clothes, we have tutorials and classrooms for continued and more advanced learning. Above all, we are your friend and want you to enjoy SL as much as we do.

Ask one of our volunteers to give you a tour of the island. Ask them any questions you may have and we will answer you or find the answer for you. We will show you how to find your own way around SL and our Help People® Island. Feel free to come back to Help People® Island as often as you wish and use the group chat feature to ask questions. Also, you will be notified of events through the group chat such as live concerts or party's with live DJ's in our skygarden. So much to see and so much to do, you will never get bored or feel like you are alone.
